this is the final image, all i did was higher the Hue/Saturation and under expose the image and it gave it this effect, i thought it was cool how the sky stays bright and the hill and person turn dark, i didn't realise until after i edited the image that it was the same style on the image below.

I Have edited the bottom image in the style of the top raw image, i got the idea from the photographers i have been looking at.

Colour Splash Photography

Colour splash is a basic editing technique, it originates from the ‘Toy Camera’ era this was before the digital era, Colour splashing is used by covering one area of an image in colour and the rest of the image is greyscale, The most common programs to run this feature is Photoshop and Colour
Splash Studio for apple macs.

I got the idea of Colour Splash Bmx Images from Craig Tull’s Portfolio, Below I have used my own image to try this technique out, my experiment was a success and I wish to do more of these images throughout the course.

Craig Tull.
Critical Study.

The Photographer I have chosen to write about is called Craig Tull, Craig is a 24 year old photographer from Maidenhead, UK, He specialises in Bmx Photography, In the photo I can see Graffiti, a Bmxer and ramps, this inspires me to capture similar images and try similar techniques to what Craig does. This image makes me feel interested because the bright colours capture my eye and make me want to explore the image more.

This image is high contrast, the graffiti is really bright so the background looks dull and boring, I chose this image because I thought it was unique, it is also a raw image which is my favourite type of images, I chose this one in particular.
